Where do Sofabed Specialists Deliver?

We will do our very best to deliver Australia wide including many rural areas. Some Australian made items that require a 2 man delivery may prove difficult to certain rural areas, in which case you may like to organise your own courier or pick up.

What Is Sofabed Specialists Delivery Policy?

Delivery is subject to the individual product and location. Delivery fees are not included into the cost of the product and are an additional cost. They are calculated based on the distance of the delivery, the difficulty of getting items into your chosen room, and any special requirements.

Local Sydney metropolitan deliveries:
Our local delivery team deliver once a week (typically Saturdays) for customers located within a 40km radius from our showroom.

Interstate or Regional deliveries:

Our Interstate and regional deliveries are subject to the individual product and location and can take up to 2-4 weeks to complete delivery. Please allow this additional delivery time ontop of the lead time required to make your order if it is not instock.

Contact our team with your full delivery address and delivery access ready to go, and we can request a delivery quote for you. This can take up to 72 hours to receive the quote.

It is completely up to the customer if they would like to proceed the quote provided, otherwise, alternatively, they are welcome to organise their own delivery team or collect goods from our warehouse.

Access and removal of furniture:

Unfortunately, our delivery men are unable to take away your old furniture, nor move other items around your home, or take off doors/hinges etc.  Their role is to deliver your furniture, please ensure the delivery path is sufficient for access.

If you are unsure if your sofabed will fit through your doorways etc, please contact us.  We will do our very best to provide guidance based on our experience and the dimensions of the products/ your delivery access to ensure a smooth delivery. Whilst we are unable to guarantee the item will fit into all passageways, and its ultimately up to the customer if they would like to go ahead. Our team are still happy to guide you to the best of our ability.

Sofabed Specialists accepts no responsibility for furniture which proves impossible to fit in an intended location.  Therefore, the purchaser should choose carefully because Sofabed Specialists does not refund or exchange in this instance.

When will my order be delivered?

Depending on the product, if it is instock or requires to be ordered, and the delivery address will all play a part as to when the furniture will be delivered.

a) In stock Items:

If the product you purchased is in stock, we can organise to dispatch it usually between 1-14 business days.

b) Custom made Products:

Special orders of our Australian made items usually take approx 6-10 weeks production and will be dispatched as soon as they are ready, with your consultation prior to dispatch.

c) Imported Ranges:

Our imported products could take up to to 14 weeks from time of order. This lead time is an estimate only and depends on many factors including stock availability and transportation.  We will be able to give you an estimated time frame on order.  Once the products are received into stock we will consult with you prior to dispatch.

Warehouse Pick up: – you are welcome to pick up your purchase yourself or use your own courier, however, Sofabed Specialists will not be responsible for any damage on products after collection.  If you require assistance with pick up please contact us for prior arrangement.  Please contact us for warehouse address and opening hours.

Payment:

All products require full and final payment a minimum of at least 2 days prior to delivery, and in the case of regional and interstate deliveries, a minimum 2 days prior to collection by couriers.

We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, Amex (charges apply for Amex) or Direct Deposit bank transfer

Cheques:

3 business days must be allowed for clearance of any cheques before we can continue with your order or delivery.

Cash:

Cash payments can be made in our Drummoyne store a minimum of at least 2 days before deliveries.  Our delivery team does not handle cash.

 

Delivery Disclaimer: We ask our customers to please bare with us when recieving their orders. We often work with trusted third party companies and we will do our utmost best to get your order to you within a smooth and timely matter. Whilst they dont happen often, delays can happen… and can occur suddenly and unexpectedly.
